Had a Happy Birthday :)

Howdy,

I was wondering what those pictures were in Dropbox, so was that in Spanish Fork? Glad you got to spend time with Tiffers Mom. Oh yeah, Tiffani emailed me. Sounds like you had a fun week. Last Friday we didn't end up making a cake, but a Member named Uwe (oo-va) made me a cake and it was quite delicious. I don't have time to send a video today, mostly cause I had to organize my flash drives. They are getting crowded, but I got some presents from ward members. Mostly candy and soap, I guess we stink as Missionaries cause Elder Marshall got soap too. ha-ha. One member figured out that I like cats and gave me a porcelain cat that is a little scary. ha-ha, but I will be sending that home, so it doesn't break. She is a very interesting lady, but she has changed since her baptism in January. She has about 8 cats herself.

I got to say the opening prayer in sacrament meeting yesterday, so that was fun and a little bit exciting. Olaf Ebisch had all of his kids home and two of them are married to Americans, so there were quite a few Americans at church yesterday. Also the Howards are in town and have been for a couple of weeks. They actually live in Saint George, but live in Germany in the Summer. The house they have is amazing. They bought it about 5 years ago and if they hadn't of done that, it would have caved in. It's a really old mansion and they are restoring it and will let the ward use it for activities and what not. It's huge, but it needs a lot of work, so yeah, they are living in a scary run down looking Mansion at the moment ha-ha. It's pretty cool. I'll see if I can get some pictures or something this next week.

We moved some heavy rock for FHE at the Olaf Ebischs last Monday and that was fun and exhausting. Also, tell Dad about a book called "As A Man Thinketh" I guess it is what the book "The Secret" is based off of and is way better. idk.

Sorry today is short. I don't have much to say. We got two new investigators which is pretty exciting, cause we haven't had any new ones for a couple of weeks.

Love you tons and hope all is well. Tell Oma and Opa I say hi.

Tschüß

Not getting transferred :)

Neither of us got transferred. We are both staying in Schwarzenberg.

Yes, I got the package.  I video myself opening my birthday package, but it is 30 minutes long, so I will put it on an SD card and then mail it to you in the package for dad. Thank you so much for everything. I absolutely loved the Doctor Who shirt. The kit kats are almost gone, ha-ha and thank you for the little PMG book, it's going to be a life saver. The tie is beautiful. I wore it the next day, but unfortunately I was sick the next day and I wasn't even home. I was in Mitweide on tausch, that was Thursday fyi, while Elder Marshall was in Berlin for a meeting. The cards were wonderful. Thanks Dad for the balloons, we have already had fun trying to make things out of them. Still searching for something for Dad. You would be amazed at how little time we have to do that.

On Friday night we tausched with Annaberg Elders and I stayed in Schwarzenberg with Elder Savage and Elder Marshall went to Annaberg. Elder Savage ended up being sick all Saturday so we didn't end up doing much work other than organizing, cleaning and listening to some inspiring talks. We did have one appointment with a member and her non member husband which was interesting, cause I was in charge cause it's my area, so basically I took over the area for a day. It was scary and fun.

Got a really cool pen that turned out to be terrible to write with. It's called a friction pen. You can erase what you right with a rubber plastic bit located on the end of the pen. The ink is terrible though ha-ha. Cool concept. Also thank you so much for the pictures for my planner. You did a really good job with them holy Toledo I was impressed, so really good job and thank you so much for taking time to make them for me.

Thank you for the videos, I was very touched by the family one. It was good to see Uncle Lindon and to hear his voice. Thank you for throwing me a party and for my friends. Say thanks to everyone who said Happy Birthday. Give my love to them. Ich Liebe Dich is a romantic way of saying I love you, so it would be better to say Ich Habe So Viel Liebt fur Dich. Landon will tell you how to pronounce that, but you will all have a terrible accent any way ha-ha. Give my love to  everyone. I love you guys and I miss you. Thank you Mom for everything that you and Dad have done for me and continue to do for me. Say hi to Tiffani for me. Love you bunches and hope you have a wonderful week.

I'm feeling better :)

I am good. I have been feeling a lot better.

At the ward Mexican party, a few of the members started eating the tacos with their hands, when they saw us doing it, it was so funny.

Played ninja at a member's house. Lina, the one girl in that video I sent you, her little sister, Lucy, had a birthday party and we were invited by her, to go to it. That was on Monday, so it was awesome. I love playing ninja.

I don't need much in the way of presents for my Birthday. In fact, I think I might have too much stuff. Not sure what I'm going to do when I get transferred.

I'm glad you told Lindon I said hi. I have been trying to find time to write him a letter, but we are so busy on pday, because we have to do our study, clean, shop and email. There is no time for writing letters. Tell Lynette I say happy birthday.

We have decided to be eating more healthy, so today we are having stir fry. Not sure how that is going to go, ha-ha, but I have been sending home a lot of pictures of food to show dad what we have been eating.

OK, so now for important things.

So the pictures and music you sent me is great, thank you so much. I'd like some more pics of the family.

The Hertigs, family in our ward, made us a strawberry cake. We basically ate it all within 24 hours, all but a little bit.

Had a zone training meeting in chemnitz last week and saw sister Pitech again. she is doing great. It was nice seeing her. She is a giant nerd. She has a star wars rap memorized. ha-ha. Not sure how all the rest of my MTC District is doing.

I ate the equivalent of a German Grilled cheese sandwich. It had cheese, meat, red sauce and butter. It was interesting, not bad though.

A list of birthdays would be awesome. Like a physical copy. Birthdays for friends and family. That way I can wish them a Happy Birthday on their bdays.

Saw a German Dalmatian. I am getting fat, so now my pants are starting to fit.

Made a heart shaped cake, just for fun :) I need a white sauce recipe really badly.

Thank you for everything you have been doing for me. I love you so much and I am so glad that you are feeling better. Have a fantastic week.

Alles Gute zum Geburtstag Dad :)

OK, so I don't have much time, I am sorry. I love you. I hope everything is OK with your body cause I don't want you to be sick. I have been sick for the last 3 weeks, which hasn't been fun.

I will see what I can do about the package, but I think you should just send it to the apartment, because if I am not home, then they will leave a slip for me to pick it up later and if I leave schwarzenberg I would have to get it from the mission office.

I remembered a few things that i kinda want/ need. Mini preach my gospel (English), that little sack bag that I sent back( I need it back so I can use it as a tausch (exchange) bag), floss, also some more soap would be nice. I am almost out, but yeah, that is all I can think of.

I tausched in Annaberg with Elder Mitchell (he is the one who says bye and waves in the video I sent home). Also, Landon's girlfriend looks really sweet and I can't wait to meet her. The girl in the video is now 14, she just had a birthday, and she is a member's daughter in our ward. She is really good at the piano. I hope you all start feeling better. We made a cake in Annenberg to celebrate Dad's birthday.

We have been walking a bit cause we are now tausching the car with Annenberg Elders. Sorry this email is so messy. I am like out of time. ha-ha. Woops.  Love you so much and I hope you have a great week, but yeah. I love you tons. Tell all the family I say hi. Especially Uncle Lindon.

What do I want for my Birthday?

I actually bought myself a fuzzy purple blanket. I'm not sure what else I would like for my Birthday. Jerky would be cool. Maybe some Kit Kats, they are pricy over here. .

The baptism fell through. We don't have any new investigators and none of our investigators are progressing at the moment, but I know that things will start picking up here in a bit. mein deutch ist viel besser, aber ich habe viele zu lehrnen noch. (My German is much better, but I still have a lot to Learn)

I can't believe Landon has a girl friend!!!

We wear short sleeve shirts and drink water. My nose bleeds have stopped since that one week. I'm not completely sure what I can't eat as far as eggs go, because apparently I ate a desert that had egg whites in it and I was just fine and a doctor dude said that since it's not an allergy, I can overcome it, but I don't know.

More pics of misty would be nice for my birthday. oh! make sure you get misty something nice for my birthday. That would make me happy. :)
OK update time.
1. I ate salmon the other day and didn't like it. but I love the steak.
2. Gave myself another hair cut and now it looks funny, but what can I do but wait for it to grow and recut it.
3. They have weird salads here like cucumber salad.
4. I was in Hohenstein last Wednesday on tausch (Exchange) and gave a lady an English Book of Mormon. She was from Greece, but knew English.
5. I found a Buch Mormom from 1950. Kind of wanted to buy it and send it to Bishop cope, but I didn't. In fact it was a triple, so it had D&C and the Pearl in it as well.
6. We had to walk at the beginning of the week and on Tuesday we got lost. Ended walking for like almost 3 hours. It was crazy, but it takes forever to walk places. We now have our car back and are driving again, but we will have to start trading the car with annaberg and I have no idea what we are going to do when they have the car. We'll see how it goes.

7. I can understand so much more German now.
8. I love the steak over here and they eat it all the time, except not in the winter.
9. We had a Mexican night at the church and it was pretty legit. The ward put it on and some people invited non member friends and it was cool. The food wasn't too bad, but all the Germans ate the tacos with forks and knifes, haha until they saw Elder Marshall and I eating it with our hands. The youth did a little cowboy dance and it was funny cause that's not Mexican. but it was still nice.

well, that's all for this week. I'm going to go read the other emails and see what's up

Love you
