Where is time going?

We got stuff from the Members, so don't worry, I got enough. I was satisfied. ha-ha.

We didn't eat at the same places as the sisters, but we went to the Habermanns house every day, for the three days with the sisters, so we saw them every day, ha-ha.

Tolman and Kossin

I have no idea where time is going. . .

Twins

Tell Lindon I love him.

We were at the Richters house on Thursday and Josiah, the little boy in blue, played with my camera a little bit. He took a video. Ha-ha. It was so adorable. He is about 5 years old. I also show them our house on google maps and they noticed how many churches are next to us. I think they were amazed. The boy behind Josiah is his brother Finn. He likes Star Wars. He is cool. We had fun with them. Brother Richter served in Scotland.

Well, I don't really have much more to say.

Nerf Game

From Grandma and Grandpa

Your package is done. ha-ha. I might send that today.

Today I get to help Sister Tolman buy a new camera.

well, I think that's it. ha-ha. I love you mom.

See you on Christmas day!

I saw the pictures and video :) it turns out I am keeping the hard drive, so I will put stuff on there. Landon and Tiffani looked so lovely, but I think I am still a bit in the unbelieving part. ha-ha. I am calling at 5:00 pm my time Christmas day. That means about 9:00 am your time and 8:00 am Landon and Tiff's time. Tell them that Google hang out is super easy to install.

I got the Package, so much FOOD!! haha. I still have not sent your package, but I am getting close I think.

KELLI IS SO TALL!!! She was not that tall like 9 months ago. what happen?

Well, I think that is all I have to say today. I got lovely emails form Grandma, Grandpa, Maudie, Ronnie and Suzy. That was nice.

Also, got sick this last week. Still a little sick but not too bad. Got a cool CD from a member here last Friday. That's where I was last Friday, ha-ha. The Egly family. They are really cool. He speaks great English.

well, I will see you on Wednesday. Make a list of things you want to talk to me about. We have an hour, that is it.

love you so much

Christmas Party :)

Yes, I got your package and opened it. I am currently filling the hard drive full of stuff. ha-ha. Pics and videos.

Kyle made this

I have not opened the presents, but I know what two of them are... Peanut butter and a Sonic Screwdriver. Unless you took my old Sonic Screwdriver container and filled it with something ha-ha. I have no idea what that box one is though and I think the other one is a shirt. Those are my guesses. I will be opening them on Christmas eve, because that is when they open presents in Germany. Keep practicing with Google hangout so that I can talk to you and Landon at the same time.

I didn't get to many pics at the Christmas zone conference. We watched 17 miracles. It was so good again. There were a lot of tears in that room.

We had our Christmas party as well and there were so many people there. It was crazy, someone got a video of our performance, but you won't understand it, except for the singing that we did. I will put them all on the hard drive and will be sending the hard drive in your Christmas box. I think I am going to use the same box you sent my stuff in. I am working on something special that you will either like or not like. I don't know. I had another idea, but I am saving that for Mother's day, more special. ha-ha. so your Christmas present isn't that great, but your Mother's day present is gonna rock your socks off. ha-ha.

Watched the videos on the hard drive, ha-ha that was funny.

It sounds like you had an eventful week. I hope you had fun and ate healthy.

Tell Oma and Opa hello and give them a hug and a kiss for me.

Oh yeah, so on Thursday something weird happened. I got a call from the British post office asking me if my address had changed... do you have my number? cause I have no idea how they got my number. ha-ha. It's now in Berlin. I told them that the address you gave them is the address of my office. ha-ha, that was fun. It was nice hearing a British accent again. Oh yeah, I saw Elder Coleman in Hamburg. He is now companions with the other Elder From Spanish Fork. The Elders Program in Schwarzenberg is closed down. There are only sisters there now, that's weird.

I sent you one pic from hamburg and then where Elder Kossin is Planking the Missionary table at the church. I sent you some pics of the Christmas party set up and us eating pizza after we decorated. That was alright, but they kept trying to get me to eat Tuna fish Pizza, that stuff isn't the best tasting pizza. ha-ha.

So there are three days of Christmas here in Germany. December 24, 25, and 26. we have eating appointments for every one of those days as of yesterday, but on Saturday we actually only had an appointment on the 26th. Yesterday, I guess people felt bad that no one was inviting us. The sisters had all three days filled like 2 weeks ago. Everyone loves the sisters more than the Elders. It's so sad.

Well, I gotta go write some others. love you.

SNOW!!!

This was Kyle's District in his old area

OK, well I probably won't get Oma and Opas package for a while, cause we are going to hamburg on Wednesday, so unless they sent it last week, it might be a month or two till I get it. That is totally crazy that they couldn't find our address. There aren't apartment numbers here, only building numbers, but they still should have been able to find it. Oh well, there's not much we can do about it. Thanks for letting me know.

I saw some of the pics, ha-ha, snow. We got a bit of snow this last week and it was cold. I sent a picture of us walking to a service project in the snow, ha-ha. that was a fun service project. We helped out with a kids Christmas Market. We sold stuff. The sisters sold cold drinks and we sold hot punch. That was fun. I sent a video of a kid spinning my companion around in circles, but yeah, ha-ha. During the service project, a couple of parents asked us if the punch was alcoholic, ha-ha.  No no, it wasn't.

On their way to a service project. Kyle's companion in front .

Yeah, we are going to the ward Christmas party, it should be fun. I am excited. we are representing America.

I'm glad people are noticing my talent, ha-ha. They should see what I can do with a good camera and Photoshop.

This last week we went to Hannover and had a meeting there, that was Tuesday, we also went back to that bible study group, that was so much fun, but we spent like the entire day traveling. Monday, I bought Mom's present. ha-ha. Well, part of it. This package is going to take a while to get to her. It might be more like a birthday present.

Wednesday we spent 3 hours reading the white handbuch . . . in German. That was a killer, ha-ha, but we made it. We also went on tausch, so I went to Göttingen for a day. that was fun. Met a really neat guy over there, but I missed our appointment with John Wayne, our Asian Friend. OK his name isn't really John Wayne, but I couldn't think of any cool Asian names.

Thursday I totally don't remember what happened. Friday I got a little sick. Saturday, I think we did something fun. Oh wait. It was Saturday I got sick. Friday was the service project with the Kinder.

Sunday, I got tackled by kids after church, that was fun. . . not. Also went to our friend Aung's house. He is really cool. We practiced a musical piece Elder Kossin and him are playing together.

Tonight we are going to the Richters house for family home evening.

Well, that's all. I love you

Thank you so much

No Turkey dinner...

well my week was good. ..

So, we didn't get turkey on Thanksgiving, but we had dinner with the Sisters and Aung. We prepared a little something. I made Yorkshire puddings... sort of.  I will try and send the video, but not sure if it will go though. ha-ha. I have not yet gotten the package, but elder Kossin got a package (actually two) haha.

It sounds like you have been having lots of fun.

Just so you know. I will be using Google Hangout to video call home, instead of skype. So practice that a bit with someone. I will probably be using my gmail account, that way I can also stream it live to youtube, but we don't have an appointment for that yet, so I will let you know more later.

Our investigator is doing good. We have really built a friendship with him and he is doing good. He is just waiting for his answer. We try and meet with him as often as possible.

The other investigator is also doing good. we are teaching him about other churches and the history and why there are so many churches. he seems to already be seeing the difference and possible seeing that we have the full truth, it's super cool.

Out of the 7 weeks I have been here, we have only eating at a members house on Sunday 2 times and have had 5 eating appointments all together. It's a lot different from my old area.

Well, that's me. Also, my toe looks terrible.

This week should be more interesting because we are doing some traveling for meetings. Should be fun... and busy.

I will be taking money out today to buy stuff for Christmas for you and possibly a little something for the others as well.

I love you so much

I hope you have a great week.

I'm staying in Kassel with Elder Kossin :)

Well, I am doing much better this week. I finally talked to Sister Kosak about my stomach and she put me on some meds. Not helping too much yet, but what ev.

Seems like you had a really busy week. I need more family pictures. Misty pictures would be good to and maybe some pictures found during family history. That would be great actually. Very useful.

This past week I was able to make a very strong spiritual bond with one of our investigators. He is really a great guy and he is totally ready. He just needs to recognize his answer. He is from Burma, which is really cool and he is really really good at the piano.

We also had an investigator come to church yesterday. He didn't seem to enjoy it too much because he didn't understand it, so that's a bit difficult, but we had a lesson with him on Friday and in the closing prayer he prayed that Elder Kossin and I would both get girlfriends... ha-ha, it was so funny. Just so you know, I still don't. but it'll probably happen because he prayed for it.

I received a glass mug from an investigator and this last week he gave me an old protestant song book. It's pretty cool. I have been thinking of good presents to get you and I think I have decided, but I'm not sure you will completely enjoy it. ha-ha, but I think I will do it any way.

Justin told me that he would visit you, so I'm glad he did. It's so weird that he is home. I'm pretty sure he just left like a month ago.

oh and just so you know. We got our transfer call and we are all staying in Kassel for Christmas. yay. Thank Landon and Tiff for the Christmas songs.

I bought some new trousers and a new shirt. They look good.

Well, that's all I got for now.

I love you so much.
Thanks for all the support and love

5 c :/

It's about 5 c (41 F) but it's going pretty good. I have been using the gloves that Joel gave me every day now. Life saver.

We are going to make stuffing and maybe cook up some chicken and mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving. I hope that all the missionaries here in Kassel, stay here for Christmas. It would be better.

I'll be waiting for your Christmas package. Kolton sent me a letter, so I will be looking out for that as well. He seems to be doing pretty good. He's in Argentina now. They just had a baptism. No word on Frau. Hope she is doing good.

well have fun with your cow stuff....

We went to a bible study group last Tuesday and that was fun. We are going again this Tuesday. we also had two tausches, was pretty heck-tick, but I met some Americans, who only one of them would talk to us. The others pretended like we weren't there. Even when we translated a lady saying that the train is having some technical difficulties and that they are working on getting it going.

I still haven't bought new jeans, but Christmas sales are going on now, so I will probably be buying them soon.

I will send you a copy of the invitation I made for the ward Christmas party. I sent a video, hope you like it. I will try and make another one, but it will probably be two weeks till you get it. We are switching back and forth between the cafe and the church computers, kinda, so we will see how that goes.

I love you. Thank you for everything.

Love you more

We have a new friend...

Sorry no video, but next week I will have one for you. We are at the cafe again and I am not risking my sd cards.

Everyone seems to be doing good. No I didn't get a picture with Becar and Meeks. Unfortunately.

Julian got married?? That's cool. Sorry you couldn't go.

The fasting seems to be going quite well.

I have still been having a weird uncomfortable feeling under my rib on the left side of my body or in other words my stomach. It's really weird, so I haven't been feeling the best.

Glad you had fun at Tiffani's bridal shower.

We have a new friend. His name is A____n and he is 19. He's from Africa and speaks five languages. Here is the interesting part, his Dad is a priest. The only reason they are here is because they are some sort of priest exchange program for their church. We are invited to their house tomorrow to join their bible study group. We'll see how that goes.

So, we can visit members the week of Christmas, but we can't do any proselyting.

The post from USA to Germany is really slow because the German chancellor figured out that the American government was hacking into her phone, so if you want to send me anything for Christmas I would send it this week or next week to get it to me on time, but if you can't no worries.

love you tons

No, I didn't get my hamburger...

No, I didn't get my hamburger...

I did get a surprise box from Jeff, Dawn and Echo. ha-ha. They sent me a bunch of junk food, which I ate almost all of by Saturday.

We started our fast on Saturday and are still fasting. We had to break Sunday lunch at a member's house. We are doing a 40 day fast with our ward, so every day a different family in the ward fasts and we call them up and tell them what happened that day. It's for missionary work. That's pretty cool.

I will try and get some pics. I am sending you some pics today, but the computer is going really slow. We are in the church today.

I ate some really eggy crepes on Saturday at a members house and got dizzy for the rest of the day.

We didn't do anything for Halloween. They don't celebrate Halloween over here. Also, we are not aloud to play board games, card games, do puzzles or nothing. so, I don't know what we are going to do around Christmas time when we aren't aloud to work for a week.

It's very cold and it gets dark really fast, but it's all good, I got my testimony to shed some light and keep me warm.

The mirror is now up in our bathroom, that was an adventure. So the equivalent of home depot over here is called Obi. It might be owned by the same people, but we ended up going there like four times, cause I had to install a light switch on the side of the cabinet to control the lights. That was an adventure. It is the worst not having the right tools.

You should repaint the fence blue, like tardis blue. Nice happy colors, that way I have something nice to see when I get home. There are like no happy colors here, ha-ha.I should probably mention I need new jeans. I think mine shrunk or I got fat, but they are way to tight now, ha-ha.

Almost got robbed in Hamburg, actually I might have gotten robbed, but I don't know what they took cause I didn't notice anything missing, ha-ha. It was scary.

Hamburg was cool. I talked to a member of the 70 and he is from England and is pretty cool. President Kearon is his name. I also met an elder who is from Spanish Fork, but only got to talk to him for like 2 minutes. I saw Sister Schoupf, Sister Johnson, Elder Becar, Elder Meeks, my trainer and a bunch of other Elders and Sisters that I know. That was fun.

Well, I am going to go write Kelli.

love you
enjoy the pics.

I'm doing great :)

I'm doing great. I am loving Kassel. Appointments, travel and study. ha-ha that's my life.
The apartment is still a mess. Today I have to drill some holes to put a mirror in our bathroom and I have lots of work to do. Maybe I will take a small video and send it to you.

The weather has been weird the past two days, so we have a little bit of the storm that hit England.

The ward has asked me to make the Christmas party invitation.

I think this is Elder Kossin, but not sure.
So this week we had interviews with President, that was really fun. I asked him where he bought Sister Kosak's phone case and he said on amazon and then he gave me permission to go and buy one. ha-ha, but then I said I don't have a phone, but I think he was serious, that was pretty funny.

I am writing in my journal at least every three days, but I will have to buy a new one in about two months. I think, but I will buy one over here cause I want a smaller one.

We don't really have any plans for this p-day, but I think this week we are going to try and make some breaded chicken.

We are going to Hamburg this week for a 6 hour conference. 6 hours of sitting is going to kill me, but I hope I get the opportunity to buy a hamburger there, cause that would make it all worth it.

 Purple cauliflower
Moldy stuff that we found in the church fridge

Not sure where this is

We went to Hanover and stayed with the ZLs and I took a picture out their window. That is the city shot.

Well, that's all I got for now.

I love you lots

Love,

Elder Crotts
